When wireless earbuds do not charge in their case, the problem is usually dirty contacts, a flat case or a poor fit. Try these fixes in order.
1. Check the Case Has Power
Charge the case itself and look at its indicator light. A case with no charge cannot charge the earbuds.
2. Clean the Contacts
Use a dry cotton swab or a soft brush to clean the metal contacts on the earbuds and inside the case. Lint, earwax and dust often block charging. Use a tiny bit of isopropyl alcohol on the swab for stubborn dirt and let it dry.
3. Seat the Earbuds Properly
Take them out and put them back, pressing lightly until they sit correctly. Check the indicator light on the earbud or case.
4. Try a Different Cable and Charger
Charge the case with another cable and a simple 5V USB charger.
5. Reset the Earbuds
Most models have a reset procedure (often holding the case button or the earbud touch area for several seconds). The exact steps depend on the model, so check the manual.
6. Leave Them in the Case for a While
A completely drained earbud can take a few minutes before the light responds.
7. Check for a Faulty Battery
If one earbud never charges or dies quickly, its battery may be worn. Replacement is usually the answer, and earbuds do not last forever.
