A Bluetooth keyboard that will not connect is usually not in pairing mode, is low on battery or is still paired to another device. Try these fixes.
1. Charge or Replace the Batteries
A weak battery causes many connection problems.
2. Put It in Pairing Mode
Turn the keyboard on and hold the Bluetooth or pairing button until the light flashes. Many keyboards store several devices, so choose the right slot.
3. Forget the Keyboard and Pair Again
Remove the keyboard from your device’s Bluetooth list, then pair it again from scratch.
4. Turn Bluetooth Off and On
Toggle Bluetooth on the computer, tablet or phone, or restart the device.
5. Check It Is Not Connected Elsewhere
A keyboard connected to another device may not appear. Switch the other device’s Bluetooth off.
6. Reduce Interference
Keep the keyboard close and away from USB 3 ports, Wi-Fi routers and other wireless devices.
7. Update Bluetooth Drivers and System Software
On Windows, update the Bluetooth driver. On Mac, iPad and Android, install the latest system update.
8. Reset the Keyboard
Many keyboards have a reset procedure in the manual. Use it if nothing else works.
